Since the late 19th century, major cities have competed in erecting giant towers that appear to defy the laws of gravity with their astonishing height and slender profiles. These skyscrapers have revolutionised urban design and opened up new perspectives for cities around the world. To honour the vibrancy of the modern metropolis and its dazzling high-rise architecture, Caran d'Ache craftsmen have created a new version of the Geneva company's famous Ecridor.
The pen's hexagonal body, with Palladium finish, is decorated with meticulous guillochage that captures the beautiful proportions of these buildings with their rhythm, symmetry and vertical lines all in perfect balance. "Lignes Urbaines" evokes the structural architecture and the throbbing energy of the world's greatest urban centres, while its permanently brilliant finish creates a fascinating play of light that recalls the infinity of reflections from the facades of these incredible constructions.
Manufactured in the Geneva workshops of Caran d'Ache, the Ecridor "Lignes Urbaines" is a hexagonal pen available in a gilded or a Palladium version. It has a precision mechanism that offers exceptional writing comfort, a retro clip and a push-button system for the pencil.
Mechanical pencil: filled with leads of 0.7 mm diameter.
