The fountain pen has a chromium-plated polished steel nib in writing width M. It is equipped with ink cartridges. The cap has a «click-in» mechanism for fitting it onto the body. It also has a slanting end embossed with the monogram «CdA». An extra design feature is that when seen in profile, the slanting cap-end and the clip form an elegant curve.

The ballpoint pen has a high-precision rotary mechanism for engaging or retracting the tip. The pen is built for the famous «Goliath» giant cartridge, offering a writing capacity of up to 600 A4 pages. The cartridge has a steel tip housing and the ball is made of tungsten-carbide. It ensures a clean line during the whole of the cartridges' lifetime.
